Brenda joined New York Life in September 1988 after 11 years in her career as a computer programmer/systems analyst. She has been a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) for 32 years; she is Lifetime member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) and has her CLU®, ChFC®, RICP®, CASL® and CLTC® designations.
Brenda has served on many boards with the goal of giving back to her community and her profession. They include: Yakima Valley College Foundation, Yakima Valley College Investment Board, and the Washington State Insurance Commissioner’s Agents and Brokers Advisory Board, and the NYL Agent’s Advisory Council. She has been a member of the Yakima Estate Planning Council for most of her career at NYL.
Brenda has been active in her church serving as the Youth Ministry Chair and working with students of all ages for over 35 years. Her love of people and children motivate her to serve.
Brenda and her husband Mel live in Selah, WA. They have 3 sons Jason (Autumn), Trevor, and Jared (Shari) and four grandchildren (Natalie, Bazil, Lottie, and Brodie) who are the light of her life.
